However, due to the digital and license-based nature of our products, our refund process follows specific policies to ensure fairness and protection against unauthorized software usage.
2. Software Products (e.g., QuickBooks Desktop)
Nature of the Product
Accounting software such as QuickBooks Desktop and related license keys are digital products that provide permanent activation rights once issued. Software licenses are volatile and non-retractable—once a license key is activated or registered, it cannot be reused or resold. Due to this permanent nature, refund eligibility is limited to specific conditions, as activation constitutes full product delivery.

Customers are eligible for a 100% refund within 7 calendar days from the date of purchase, provided that the product license has not been activated.

Requests made after the 7-day period, or for products that have already been activated, installed, or linked to a user account, are not eligible for a refund.

If a customer experiences technical issues preventing access or installation, QB TECHS LLC support will first attempt to resolve the issue before processing any refund request.

3. IT Services (Remote, Consultation, and Implementation)
Nature of Services
QB TECHS LLC provides professional IT services including technical support, remote installation, consultation, and system configuration for accounting platforms. These are labor-based services, customized to individual client environments, and therefore cannot always be reversed or refunded once performed.
Refund Policy for Services

If service delivery has not yet started, the client may request a full refund within 7 days of payment.

Once any part of the service has been rendered (such as remote access, diagnosis, consultation, or partial implementation), a pro-rated refund may be issued based on the unutilized portion of services.

Completed services are non-refundable, as professional time and technical resources have already been allocated.

Cancellations and Adjustments
If a service session must be rescheduled or canceled, clients must notify QB TECHS LLC at least 12 hours in advance. Late cancellations may incur an administrative fee.
